The A55 expressway is a vital travelling route for climbers accessing North Wales. Along side, often no more than 10 minutes diversion lie a host of crags, often in sun when the mountains can be cloaked in rain and cloud. Knowledge of them is useful, and beats sitting in the traffic jams of high summer.
