TOUR DU MONT BLANC ( TMB ) JUNE / JULY 2 WEEKS ( ALAN WARD)

The TMB is one of the classic Alpine long distance walking trails. Aseries of footpaths creates a circuit of approximately 180km ( 112 miles ) around the Mont Blanc range. Throughout its length the route provides stunning views of snow, ice and rocky peaks. Although demandingin parts the TMB is well within the capabilities of any fit mountain walker. The tour is a hut to hut holiday, which fits nicely into a two-week period. It is intended that we go towards the end of June, start of July 2010 period.
