Plas- Y- Brenin Weekend, December 4th, 5th and 6th
The aim is to use PYB as a base for a weekend of activities. For members to get together and sort out what they would like to do, either Climb, Scramble or Walk. A Christmas festive meal WILL be provided for ALL on the Saturday evening. Some members usually extend the weekend by having an extra day out on the Friday

Often on Saturday evening ( 8pm ) there is a Guest speaker / slide show in the main lecture room which we are able to view.

Free showing of the brand new Birdman across the Karakoram film featuring local director Al Hughes and International record breaking paragliding champion John Sylvester. This film features some very scary footage of two men hanging from a bit of nylon floating about in the air above, alongside and below some of the most amazing mountains in the world, you’ll need to hold on to your seat for this one

Moelwyn cottage has been recently refurbished and is an excellent base for us all. Set as it is in the middle of the PYB complex, with a super drying room , climbing wall, gear shop where you can hire all you require. The bar sells real local ale and meals are served from 7pm onwards. These weekends have proved very popular and i would advise you to book with me ASAP . £5 deposits.
NOTE : Should any other CLUB MEMBERS wish to join us on one or more of the days out , then you are more than welcome. PLEASE let me know your intentions, so i have at least got an idea who is turning up and on which day.For this, Suggest meeting 8:45 am @ Moelwyn cottage .
