Joint Meet with Chester M.C. 7/11/09
We have kindly been invited to a joint meet with the Chester MC and the joint use of their hut for the weekend. The hut holds 25 and there would be 12 places available for CMC members. We would pay the same as Chester MC members for an overnight stay (£3 per night).

Below is the basis of the offer from Phil Moore of Chester MC:
“I have picked the date as it is towards the end of the year as this is the time when we could get both walkers and climbers attending. There is still a possibility of climbing on the slate or even Holyhead mountain and Tremadoc if people are inclined. The other alternative is to walk or scramble. It is also a good time to socialise at the hut and talk about mountaineering and climbing. I think the idea us meeting up is twofold. The first is that we can at least say Hello if we come across one another when out and the second is that members may wish to join in on the other club’s activity now and again.”
This is therefore a joint meet for us to socialise and get to know each other which should be to everyones benefit rather than an opportunity just to use a convenient hut! If anyone is interested in this meet then please let Mike Doyle know. The first 12 names will secure a place.
